Description

Play Wild Mongrel and Merfolk Looter as a discard engine to play Reckless Wurm as a large beater or discard anything you don't need in your hand or probably want to play from your graveyard. Use intuition to find Wonder to give your creatures flying or Deep Analysis for card draw. Discarding the remaining card from your hand should be no problem. Finally play Shivan Wurm as a game finisher. It's requirement of returning a red or green creature to your hand should be no problem since all other mobs are fairly cheap to recast, if needed at all.

While Manamorphose and preordain usually only act as deck thinners Manamorphose might just get you that hard needed blue mana while Preordain might find your Wild Mongrel. Fiery Temper can act as critter removal or combat trick while at the same time it's boosting your Wild Mongrel. The cards returned to your hand by the nonbasic lands you played(Gruul Turf, Simic Growth Chamber, Izzet Boilerworks) can be discarded again for a Mongrel boost or free card by Merfolk Looter.

The sideboard cards allow you to partially board red out and get a more stable mana base. Rites of Spring is an extra chance on discarding while it makes lands at the same time, which can be played or discarded. Ray of Revelation and Ancient Grudge are used versus artifact or enchantment based combo decks.
